Daido Market had a nice variety of Japanese food items in a somewhat smaller footprint that would probably make it even more attractive for senior citizens. They had good prices on their produce. People were friendly. The store was well-lit, making it easy to find what you wanted.

I absolutely love shopping at Daido to cure my Japanese cravings & much prefer it over the other chain store here in Houston. For a very small & compact store, the selection is absolutely outstanding. Parking is easy, it’s never crowded, it’s clean, well organized & appealing to the eye, the customer service is outstanding & everyone that works there is super welcoming & helpful. The prices are extremely fair & there’s always various sales & discounts to be had. My favorite finds are the freshly made sushi & bento boxes/premade meals. The seafood is always amazingly fresh & of the absolute highest quality! It’s a locally owned minority business that provides amazing products & amazing service so what’s not to love?! It makes me feel like I’m in Japan with no long flight or passport needed. Support this phenomenal business & continue to help them thrive. There’s something for everyone to enjoy here. 5/5 stars!

This is a great small store to find Japanese food. It has a selection of food to try. It great to be able to buy a ready to go sweet potato and it taste good! They also have a friendly staff.

This Japanese market was recommended to me by @lavsushimaking after we took her sushi class! This was the perfect spot to stick up on everything you need to make sushi or poke bowls at home! High quality, affordable fish and all the sauces and toppings you need.

Good Japanese market! You can get fundamental Japanese cooking materials here! Also, I like the environment there cuz it’s not too big not too small but just a right size! :) Come and enjoy 😉 Cheers 🥂
